RECENT HISTORY OF THE HAREFIELD CRICKET CLUB

1967 New Club House opened on 6th September
1967 R.Wiles scores 202* for 1stXI vs Totteridge, a Club batting record
1967 Mick Horwood takes all ten wickets for 2ndXI at Datchet
1970 1stXI win Uxbridge 20 over Cup Final beating Ickenham in final. Tom Evans is man of the match
1972 Mike Gatting captains Brondesbury Colts aginst Harefield at Woods Cricket Ground he scores 27 (ct West M b Evans P)
1974 New Club House extension is opened.
1974 Middlesex 2ndXI play their first 3 day County Championship match at Harefield. Match with Sussex is drawn. Keplar Wessells scores 268 for Sussex.
1975 Wayne Daniel plays his first match in England for Enfield at Woods Cricket Ground against Harerfield 1stXI.
1977 Harefield play their first season in the Lee 75 League.
1980 1stXI beaten by Hillingdon in final of Uxbridge 20 over Cup
1984 New Zealander Danny Morrison plays full season for Harefield. He returns to play for the Club again in 1986, 87 and 88.
1986 M.Wood hits 187 for 2ndXI vs North Middlesex.
1986 3rdXI win Farnham Royal 20 over Shield
1987 Danny Morrison plays for New Zealand in World Cup in India.
1987 Danny Morrison makes Test Match debut for New Zealand vs Australia at the Gabba. His first test wicket is A.R.Border.
1988 Danny Morrison takes 5-69 against England in the Christchurch test match.
1988 2ndXI beaten by Hillingdon in final of  20 over Trophy
1988 1stXI are runners up in Lee 75 League.
1988 Pat Hounsell scores 1,000 runs for 1stXI before the end of June.
1988 Harefield win Datchet six-a-side tournament
1989 Harefield retain Datchet six-a-side tournament
1990 David Singleton becomes first Harefield batsman to score 1,000 runs in a season in 2ndXI cricket.
1992 2ndXI win 20over Trophy beating Uxbridge in the final Richard Baker is man of the match.
1993 Harefield join the Thames Valley League.
1993 2ndXI win promotion to Division One of Thames Valley League.
1994 1stXI win promotion to Division One of Thames Valley League.
1994 1stXI beaten by Ickenham in final of Uxbridge 20 over Cup
1995 2ndXI win 20over Trophy beating Datchet in the final Martin Campling is man of the match.
1995 2ndXI relegated from Division One of Thames Valley League.
1996 Record partnership of 308* set by Richard McLeod (162*) and Gary Lawford (143*) for 1stXI at Gerrards Cross. (first wicket)
1997 2ndXI win 20over Trophy beating Uxbridge in the final Mark Petley is man of the match.
1997 Danny Morrison retires from test cricket in his final match against England at Auckland he bats for four hours to save the match
2000 Formation of Premier Leagues - 1st and 2ndXIs remain with and 3rdXI join the Thames Valley League.
2000 Richard McLeod has the outstanding batting average of 103.50 in a full season of cricket in Thames Valley League Division 1
2000 Andrew Charity is leading bowler with 37 wickets in Thames Valley 3rdXI League
